The ECW TV Championship

Description

Let's see after creating Television Championship belts of WCW, NWA, & Ring of Honor the inevitable was soon to happen sooner or later.  The ECW Television Championship.  This belt was basically the 2nd tier title for ECW back in the 90's basically the company's mid-card title.  I'll be honest with you I really don't feel like talking about the history of the ECW TV Belt after talking about the WCW, NWA, & ROH TV Belts so i'll let Wikipedia fill this one for me...

Title History: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ECW_Worl…

As far as TV champions goes in the land of extreme some of the wrestlers who became ECW Television Champion where or went on to become world champions in their careers, legends & Hall of Famers like Terry Funk, Sabu, Tazz, Eddie Guerrero, Shane Douglas, Chris Jericho, Rob Van Dam, & Rhino (or Rhyno if you wanna be WWE about it).

Thinking about all those unused TV Titles just hangging around WWE headquarters it just sickens me because it was a great title, now i'm not gonna go into my rant on why the WWE & the asshole McMahon family is not using this type of title but keep using up the US & IC belt to the point that they have no value as far as pushing a talent to the next level but just mid-card and now with another brand split it's needed even more.  It's sad I say either get rid of the US title because it loss credibility when Kalisto held it & bring back a TV belt or put the TV BELT ON NXT!!! It's not that hard WWE, Ring of Honor has the Tag Team, TV, & a World championship & NXT is just a Ring of Honor rip-off anyway so why not a NXT Television Championship "HEY TRIPLE H ARE YOU LISTENING?!?!"

Even though I was a kid and much too young to watch ECW I was fascinated with the company and Rob Van Dam's title run was my personal fave.
